2019 SCS Workshop, Centering the Margins: Creating Inclusive Syllabi

Talk titles with links below lead to resources relevant to that particular talk or the presentation itself.

Suzanne Lye

“Nuts & Bolts: Building the Foundations of an Inclusive Classroom”

PDF format — PowerPoint format

Examples of Suzanne’s syllabi

(pictures of some of my favorite pages, but check out the full thing too, linked below). Suzanne notes that she’s still fine-tuning this process and these versions are just one step along a new path. She also notes that (due to the large size of these syllabi), she may start thinking of her syllabus more as a booklet with chapters and then each file can be a different chapter that go along with the table of contents.
